I talked in question #3 of the Daily Dose about Bernard Hermann's wonderful score in relation to Wagner's Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde.

For fun, I decided to make a video using wagner's music.

(Keep in mind that film music is written to precise timing such as editing, dialogue, length of shots, events on screen and such. I didnt want to edit either the film or the Wagner, so I matched it as best I could. But I think the result is interesting.

Remember, this is just for fun. I in no way suggest Hermann's score is lacking. I think it is one of the greatest scores written.
